  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Season sliced chicken with salt and pepper; sear for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir in sliced mushrooms and dried thyme; cook until tender (about 5-6 minutes).
  5. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream; bring to a gentle simmer for about 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted; return chicken to the skillet and mix well.
  7. Toss cooked fettuccine with the sauce until evenly coated.
