  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon mayo
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Pinch of ground black pepper
  • Cooked rice of your choice
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together plain Greek yogurt, lime juice, agave syrup, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, ground cumin, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, kosher salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade and toss until well-coated. Allow to marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the marinated chicken thighs for 1-2 minutes on each side until browned.
  4. Lower the heat and cook until fully cooked (internal temperature reaches 165°F). Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  5. For the Garlic White Sauce: Combine Greek yogurt, mayo, lemon juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, kosher salt, and black pepper in a small bowl; whisk until smooth.
  6. Serve sliced chicken over cooked rice with Garlic White Sauce drizzled on top and garnish with fresh mint leaves and lemon wedges.
