  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Black sesame seeds or poppy seeds (for eyes)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and chopped chives until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and cut each triangle into two strips. Shape them into bunnies by rolling each strip into a rope.
  4. Spoon the cheese mixture into the center of each bunny shape.
  5. Brush with beaten egg and bake for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with salt; add sesame seeds or poppy seeds for eyes.
