  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (slurry)
  • Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to create the marinade.
  2. Place chicken thighs in a resealable bag or dish and pour half of the marinade over them. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat with a bit of oil. Cook the marinated chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
  4. In a saucepan, bring the reserved marinade to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes before adding the cornstarch slurry to thicken.
