Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs ribeye steak (cut into thin slices)
  • 1 red bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1 green bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1 medium white onion (chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1¼ cups beef broth
  • ⅓ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • Vegetable oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the ribeye steak for about 5-6 minutes until lightly browned; remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil and sauté the chopped bell peppers and onions for about 3-4 minutes until tender.
  3. Return the cooked steak to the skillet. In a bowl, mix garlic, black pepper, ginger, brown sugar, soy sauce, beef broth, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and cornstarch until well combined. Pour over steak and veggies.
  4. Simmer everything together for about 4-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Serve hot over rice and enjoy!
