  • 44 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for rolling
  • 5 Tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup – 2/3 cup pumpkin butter
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ground allspice
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 3 Tbsp milk
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Melt unsalted butter and mix with buttermilk until warm. Combine with instant yeast and let it sit for 5 minutes to activate.
  2. Stir in sugar, salt, vanilla extract, and eggs. Gradually add flour until a dough forms; knead until smooth.
  3. Allow the dough to rise in an oiled bowl for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  4. Prepare the filling by mixing softened butter with pumpkin butter, sugar, and spices.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread the filling evenly, and roll tightly. Slice into equal pieces.
  6. Place rolls in a greased dish and let rise briefly before baking at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes.
  7. For frosting, whisk together ingredients until smooth and drizzle over cooled rolls.
