  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 tbsp rosewater
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped pistachios
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened (for buttercream)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp rosewater (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • Finely crushed pistachios (for garnish)
  • Edible rose petals (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In one bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Cream together softened butter and sugar until fluffy in another bowl.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with milk. Fold in chopped pistachios.
  5. Fill cupcake liners two-thirds full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes.
  6. Cool cupcakes completely on a wire rack before frosting.
  7. For the buttercream, beat softened butter, then gradually add powdered sugar, rosewater, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  8. Frost cooled cupcakes and garnish with crushed pistachios and edible rose petals.
